Temperature Control Natural light: Avoid direct sunlight, use curtains as they filter artificial light: It is recommended to use cold lighting, low intensity halogen lamps Incandescent light bulbs, “regular light bulbs” produce heating. Therefore, use them indirectly, at least 1 meter away from the piece. Heating sources: Avoid placing your pieces near radiators, chimneys, heaters, or big sunny windows.
3. Humidity control Check periodically traces of humidity and leaks. Keep storage rooms ventilated . 4. Storage Avoid piling up pieces if they have not been properly packed. Take care of the wrappings, protect soft areas and cover the corners. Seal all gaps with thick masking tape. Avoid the direct contact between the piece and the masking tape. Do not keep cleaning products, thinners, detergents and similar products in the same storage room you are keeping the objects. When excessive humidity is detected use silica gel or alumina.
5. Moving and Handling Pack with the right materials, pieces should go horizontal, if placed vertically place them face to face taking care not to damage the pieces next to each other. Pieces should not be loose to avoid impacts and vibrations.
